The shoulders are protected by low-profile molded caps while Bauer has added lightweight HD foam inserts into the arch as well for further protection.
Sternum Protection
Bauer’s X-LITE Shield on the sternum of these shoulder pads provides exceptional protection from heavy blows received head on while its sleek profile also keeps the shoulder pads lightweight.
Spine Protection
Bauer has used Integrated MD Foams and PE Inserts to help fill vital areas and to ensure your back is sufficiently protected while also adding perforated comfort FLEXCELL foams to wrap around and protect your ribs.
Bicep Protection
The biceps guards on the Vapor X2.9 shoulder pads are made from MD Foam combined with molded PE inserts and are adjustable so you can ensure they are sitting comfortably and offering maximum protection.
Liner
Bauer’s Sublimated THERMO MAX liner helps to maintain a lightweight profile while also regulating temperature and wicking away moisture to keep you feeling dry on the ice.
