Warrior has upgraded their newest stick lineup to the Super Novium, a mid-high kick point stick optimized for powerful shot speed, accuracy, and control. The stick features some of Warrior’s best tech, including a Bevel taper, Minimus Carbon 25, RL199, and a Fuelcore T polymer blade.
Stick Profile
The Super Novium uses a mid-high kick point, characterized by a flex point located slightly higher than the middle of the shaft, a design that reinforces and strengthens the stick while additionally empowering shots and increasing control and accuracy. Sticks with a mid-high kick point are ideal for players who want good power on their shots. When you flex the stick during shooting, this kick point allows you to store and release energy more efficiently.
Shaft Construction
The unique Bevel Taper is a triangular, concave, almost star-shaped taper design that ensures greater stiffness and provides players with heightened control and an impressive boost in shot velocity. Additionally, the RL199 construction sets a new standard in lightweight design, surpassing even Warrior’s previous top-grade materials. By integrating higher-strength fibres that are 40% superior in modulus and tensile strength, the RL199 achieves that lighter feel without compromising durability. The inclusion of Minimus Carbon 25, a specialized flat, spread-tow weave, further optimizes strength by minimizing fibre crimp and deformation in the composite layering.
Blade Construction
Fuelcore T is a polymer blade core that offers greater durability, so it can withstand the rigors of intense gameplay. This core is enveloped with high-grade carbon fibre and Warrior’s proprietary Minimus Carbon 25 outer weave. This combination results in Warrior’s most responsive blade to date in their lineup, offering players unparalleled feedback and control when handling the puck.

The Super Novium is mainly silver in colouration with an iridescent pattern that changes colour when the light hits at different angles.
Blade Patterns, Flex & Stick Lengths
The Warrior Super Novium Intermediate hockey stick is available in the following blade patterns: W03, W28, and W88.
W03 is the best blade pattern for all-around play, with a mid-curve style. It is great at handling the puck in small spaces, including face-offs. This curve may suffer a little bit on the backhand.
W88 is a relatively traditional curve. A popular choice in the past, it excels greatly in stickhandling, quick wrist shots, and controlling snap shots.
W28 is a much more aggressive stick pattern, used often by elite players. This blade curve specializes in quick and accurate shots, but it can be a bit difficult to get used to since it is also very good at raising the puck.
