The D-Gel 540 Protek Ball Hockey Shin Guards offer a new dimension of protection to the ball hockey world. With a hard plastic shell, durability is dramatically increased, and the ability to slide and block shots becomes much easier. A molded plastic knee cap and asymmetrical molded shin cap offer a tight secure fit to the leg with additional protection running down to the ankle bones on the inside and outside.
Mid-density foam lines the pad through the caps and around the calf on the back for protection against the ball and slashes. An adjustable thigh guard allows you to raise or lower protection depending on your preference for a customized fit. As well, a perforated nylon liner promotes airflow and keeps the sweat off your leg. To finish the pad, three elastic straps help you secure it tight to you with one wrapping around the back of the knee cap to keep it snug and reduce twisting and shifting.
